오랜만에 자격증 시험에 도전해 봤는데 어렵던 쉽던간에 그 긴장감이란 똑같은 것 같다.

합격발표 전에 문제와 답안이 먼저 공개되어 가채점을 해봤는데 기억이 가물가물...
커트라인에서 왔다 갔다 하는 것 같아서 발표일 전에는 결과를 확실히 장담할 수는 없었다.

다행히 합격해서 기분은 좋다...

- 소요시간 : 2 ~ 3시간 정도 (연속적으로 공부한 것이 아니라 몇 십분씩 남는 자투리 시간을 활용했기 때문에 집중력이 많이 떨어졌다는...) 

- 학습방법 : 전체적으로 교재를 대략 훑어 보면서 어떤 내용들이 있는 지에 대해 감을 잡은 다음 기출문제와 모의고사 문제를 풀어봄.

- 난이도 : 하

시험 본 사람들은 보면 알겠지만 정말 잘 정리되어 있는 문서임.

이 자격증은 국내에서는 다른 이들에 비해 좀 빨리 취득했었을 것이다. 왜냐하면 베타 기간일때 응시를 했었기 때문이다. 이때는 2과목을 동시에 시험지로 시험을 봤었다. 2과목중 1과목은 떨어져서 나중에 다시 봤지만...

처음으로 취득한 리눅스 관련 자격증.  문제가 어렵다기 보다는 애매하게 꼬여 있는 부분이 있어 공부한 만큼의 성적은 안나왔던 것으로 기억된다.

이 시험을 준비하면서 처음으로 원서로 된 수험서를 구입해서 봤었다는...

터보리눅스 강사 자격증을 취득하기 위해서 취득했던 자격증. 문제의 난이도는 좀 있었던 것으로 기억된다.

이때 공부는 이승건 님에게 교재를 빌려서 했던 것으로 기억한다.

현재 국내에서는 사라져 버진 turbolinux 사의 리눅스 자격증이다. 그렇다고 해서 turbolinux본사가 없어진 것은 아니다. (turbolinux 홈페이지)

당시 시험 감독관이었던 터보리눅스 직원인 이주영씨를 만나는 좋은 계기를 가져다 준 자격증이다.

Linux+는  전반적으로 쉬운 편에 속하는 시험으로 기억된다. Linux 자격증을 모두 소유하고 싶은 마음에 응시했었다.

Network+는 전반적인 네트워크 기본 지식에 관해 평가하는 시험이라 볼 수 있다. CCNA 자격증 취득 전에 정리 차원에서 시험에 응시했었다.

A+는 국내의 PC정비사 수준의 외국 자격증이라 볼 수 있다. 한창 자격증 취득할 때  기본적인 OS 와 H/W 지식을 평가하고자 봤던 시험이다. 지금 생각해 보면 왜 비싼 돈 주고 이 시험을 봤는지...ㅋㅋ

이전 Level  1, 2 시험은 기록을 보니 내가 2001년도에 취득 했다. 국내에 크게 인지도가 없었던 초기였고 개인적으로는 처음으로 접하게 된 국제 공인 자격증이었다. 처음이라 어려웠지만 인터넷에서 자료 찾아가며 공부했던 기억이 난다.  

Level 2 의 경우는 베타 시험을 저렴한 비용으로 보기도 했다. 보통 컴퓨터를 통해 시험에 응시하지만 베타 시험의 경우는 직접 종이에 펜으로 답안을 작성하여 제출했었다.

개인적으로 리눅스 자격증에 대한 욕심에 있어 당시에 Level 3까지의 모든 개발이 완료되기를 기대하였으나 이제서야 Level 3 시험이 나왔다. 물론 아직 Level 3 가 모두 완성된 것은 아니다.
